We finished AbsentiaI last night. They really jumped the shark in the third season. It went from bad to worse. Some really terrible acting, Patrick Huesinger is seriously bad. Stana Katic is okay and of course she looks great. Lazy writing, incompetent directing and there’s not enough suspension of disbelief in my mind to make up for the completely unbelievable plot. Downgraded to a C-

Exercise

I’ve been walking inside at the Plymouth Community Center. During the summer of ’24 I regularly walked five miles at pretty close to a 20 minute/mile pace. This summer and the last few days I’ve been concerned that I haven’t been able to reach that pace. Today I ran into a guy who had just started walking and we started a conversation. We kept it up or the rest of my hour long walk. When I finished I was shocked to see that I’d gone almost four miles in an hour. That’s encouraging.
