Great story. I remember it was back about then that Davidson and Ike Lassiter were playing in an exhibition game. They both tackled a rookie running back and somehow ended up with the rookie upside down with Davidson and Lassiter each holding a leg.

Ike looked at Ben and said, “make a wish.”

Thanks so much for the kind comments. Enjoy your trip to Old Mission, it’s really beautiful and this is a great time to go, the colors are incredible. I can’t think of any ravines though, the landscape, although spectacular is pretty smoothed out, built on sand.
